Las aventuras de Tom Sawyer
Capítulo 8, Página 5
"Hey,
Joe,
you
can
be
Friar
Tuck
or
Much
the
miller's
son,
and
hit
me
with
a
stick;
or
I
can
be
the
Sheriff
of
Nottingham,
and
you
can
be
Robin
Hood
for
a
while
and
kill
me."
This
was
fine,
so
they
played
these
adventures.
Then
Tom
was
Robin
Hood
again,
and
the
bad
nun
let
him
bleed
from
his
wound.
Finally,
Joe,
as
a
whole
group
of
sad
outlaws,
pulled
him
away,
gave
him
his
bow,
and
Tom
said,
"Where
this
arrow
lands,
bury
Robin
Hood
under
the
tree."
He
shot
the
arrow,
fell
back,
and
almost
died,
but
he
landed
on
a
nettle
and
jumped
up
too
happily
for
a
dead
person.
The
boys
got
dressed,
hid
their
costumes,
and
left,
sad
that
there
were
no
outlaws
anymore.
They
wondered
what
modern
life
had
done
to
make
up
for
this.
They
said
they
would
rather
be
outlaws
in
Sherwood
Forest
for
a
year
than
be
President
of
the
United
States
forever.
