Las aventuras de Tom Sawyer
Capítulo 25, Página 14
“Well,
that’s
mostly
because
they
don’t
want
to
go
where
someone
was
murdered.
But
nothing’s
been
seen
there
except
at
night—just
some
blue
lights
at
the
windows—not
real
ghosts.”
“Well,
if
you
see
blue
lights,
Tom,
there’s
probably
a
ghost
nearby.
It
makes
sense
because
only
ghosts
use
them.”
“Yes,
that’s
true.
But
they
don’t
come
out
during
the
day,
so
why
be
scared?”
“Okay.
We’ll
try
the
haunted
house
if
you
say
so,
but
it’s
risky.”
They
started
down
the
hill.
In
the
middle
of
the
moonlit
valley
stood
the
haunted
house,
all
alone.
Its
fences
were
gone,
weeds
covered
the
steps,
the
chimney
was
broken,
and
the
windows
were
empty.
Part
of
the
roof
had
fallen
in.
The
boys
looked
at
it,
half
expecting
to
see
a
blue
light
in
a
window.
Then,
speaking
quietly
because
of
the
time
and
place,
they
moved
far
to
the
right
to
avoid
the
haunted
house
and
headed
home
through
the
woods
behind
Cardiff
Hill.
