Las aventuras de Tom Sawyer
Capítulo 27, Página 1
That
day's
adventure
troubled
Tom's
dreams
a
lot
that
night.
Four
times,
he
almost
grabbed
the
treasure,
but
it
disappeared
when
he
woke
up.
As
he
lay
in
bed,
he
thought
about
his
adventure.
It
seemed
distant,
as
if
it
happened
in
another
world
or
long
ago.
Then
he
wondered
if
the
adventure
was
just
a
dream.
The
amount
of
money
he
saw
was
too
big
to
be
real.
He
had
never
seen
fifty
dollars
together
before.
Like
other
boys
his
age,
he
thought
"hundreds"
and
"thousands"
were
just
imaginary.
He
never
believed
anyone
could
have
a
hundred
dollars
in
real
money.
If
he
thought
about
hidden
treasure,
it
was
just
a
few
real
coins
and
a
lot
of
imaginary
dollars.
But
as
he
thought
more,
the
events
became
clearer,
and
he
started
to
believe
it
might
not
have
been
a
dream.
He
needed
to
know
for
sure.
He
decided
to
have
a
quick
breakfast
and
find
Huck.
Huck
was
sitting
on
the
edge
of
a
flatboat,
dangling
his
feet
in
the
water,
looking
sad.
Tom
thought
he
would
let
Huck
bring
up
the
topic.
If
Huck
didn't,
then
maybe
it
was
just
a
dream.
"Hello,
Huck!"
"Hello,
yourself."
They
were
silent
for
a
minute.
"Tom,
if
we
left
the
tools
at
the
dead
tree,
we’d
have
the
money.
Oh,
isn’t
it
awful!"
"It’s
not
a
dream,
then,
it’s
not
a
dream!
I
almost
wish
it
was.
I
really
do,
Huck."
