Las aventuras de Tom Sawyer
Capítulo 12, Página 2
“You
better
be
sure.”
Peter
was
sure.
“Well,
you
asked
for
it,
so
I’ll
give
it
to
you.
But
if
you
don’t
like
it,
don’t
blame
anyone
but
yourself.”
Peter
agreed.
Tom
opened
the
cat’s
mouth
and
poured
in
the
Pain-killer.
Peter
jumped
high
in
the
air,
let
out
a
loud
yowl,
and
raced
around
the
room,
knocking
over
furniture
and
flower
pots.
Then
he
stood
on
his
hind
legs,
danced
around,
and
made
more
noise,
clearly
in
a
frenzy.
He
ran
around
the
house
again,
leaving
chaos
behind.
Aunt
Polly
came
in
just
as
he
flipped
through
the
window,
taking
more
flower
pots
with
him.
She
stood
there,
shocked,
while
Tom
laughed
uncontrollably
on
the
floor.
“Tom,
what’s
wrong
with
that
cat?”
“I
don’t
know,
aunt,”
Tom
gasped.
“I’ve
never
seen
anything
like
it.
What
made
him
act
that
way?”
“I
swear
I
don’t
know,
Aunt
Polly;
cats
act
like
that
when
they’re
having
fun.”
