Las aventuras de Tom Sawyer
Capítulo 25, Página 14
“That’s
mostly
because
a
man
was
murdered
there,
but
nothing’s
been
seen
around
that
house
except
at
night—just
some
blue
lights
at
the
windows—no
actual
ghosts.”
“Well,
if
you
see
one
of
those
blue
lights
flickering,
Tom,
you
can
bet
there’s
a
ghost
nearby.
It
makes
sense.
Because
no
one
but
ghosts
uses
them.”
“Yes,
that’s
true.
But
they
don’t
come
out
during
the
day,
so
why
should
we
be
scared?”
“All
right,
we’ll
try
the
haunted
house
if
you
say
so—but
I
think
it’s
risky.”
By
this
time,
they
had
started
down
the
hill.
In
the
moonlit
valley
below
stood
the
“haunted”
house,
completely
isolated,
its
fences
long
gone,
weeds
covering
the
doorstep,
the
chimney
crumbling,
the
windows
empty,
and
part
of
the
roof
caved
in.
The
boys
stared
for
a
while,
half
expecting
to
see
a
blue
light
at
the
window.
Then,
speaking
in
low
voices
suitable
for
the
time
and
place,
they
moved
far
to
the
right
to
avoid
the
haunted
house
and
made
their
way
home
through
the
woods
behind
Cardiff
Hill.
