Las aventuras de Tom Sawyer
Capítulo 33, Página 12
"Old
metal,"
said
Tom.
"I
thought
so;
the
boys
in
this
town
spend
more
time
and
effort
finding
a
few
cents’
worth
of
old
iron
to
sell
to
the
foundry
than
they
would
to
earn
double
the
money
doing
regular
work.
But
that’s
human
nature—hurry
along,
hurry
along!"
The
boys
wanted
to
know
why
they
needed
to
hurry.
"Never
mind;
you’ll
see
when
we
get
to
the
Widow
Douglas’."
Huck
spoke
with
some
worry,
as
he
was
used
to
being
wrongly
blamed:
"Mr.
Jones,
we
haven’t
done
anything."
The
Welshman
laughed.
"Well,
I
don’t
know,
Huck,
my
boy.
I’m
not
sure
about
that.
Aren’t
you
and
the
widow
good
friends?"
