Las aventuras de Tom Sawyer
Capítulo 33, Página 2
“Huck,
I
never
told
on
that
tavern-keeper.
His
tavern
was
fine
the
Saturday
I
went
to
the
picnic.
Don’t
you
remember
you
were
supposed
to
watch
there
that
night?”
“Oh
yes!
It
feels
like
ages
ago.
That
was
the
night
I
followed
Injun
Joe
to
the
widow’s.”
“You
followed
him?”
“Yes,
but
keep
quiet.
I
think
Injun
Joe
left
friends
behind,
and
I
don’t
want
them
turning
against
me.
If
it
wasn’t
for
me,
he’d
be
in
Texas
by
now.”
Huck
then
shared
his
whole
adventure
with
Tom,
who
had
only
heard
the
Welshman’s
part
before.
“Well,”
Huck
said,
returning
to
the
main
issue,
“whoever
took
the
whiskey
in
No.
2
probably
took
the
money,
too.
It’s
lost
to
us,
Tom.”
“Huck,
the
money
was
never
in
No.
2!”
“What!”
Huck
looked
closely
at
Tom.
“Tom,
have
you
found
a
clue
to
that
money
again?”
