Las aventuras de Tom Sawyer
Capítulo 9, Página 9
"Come
on,
that's
enough
of
that.
This
isn't
the
time
for
crying.
You
head
that
way,
and
I'll
go
this
way.
Move
now,
and
don't
leave
any
tracks
behind."
Potter
started
at
a
trot,
which
quickly
turned
into
a
run.
The
half-breed
stood
watching
him
leave.
He
muttered:
"If
he's
as
stunned
from
the
hit
and
muddled
from
the
rum
as
he
seemed,
he
won't
think
of
the
knife
until
he's
too
far
to
come
back
for
it
by
himself—coward!"
A
few
minutes
later,
the
murdered
man,
the
covered
corpse,
the
open
coffin,
and
the
grave
were
only
watched
by
the
moon.
Silence
returned
completely.
