El Gran Gatsby
Capítulo 3, Página 26
He
paused.
"No
harm
in
trying,"
he
said.
The
noise
got
louder.
I
turned
and
walked
home.
I
looked
back
once.
The
moon
was
over
Gatsby’s
house.
The
night
was
good.
The
garden
was
bright.
The
house
felt
empty.
Gatsby
stood
on
the
porch,
waving.
I
see
I
wrote
about
three
nights.
But
they
were
small
events
in
a
busy
summer.
Later,
they
were
less
important
than
my
life.
I
worked
most
of
the
time.
In
the
morning,
I
went
to
work
in
New
York.
I
knew
the
other
workers.
We
ate
lunch
together.
I
had
a
short
romance
with
a
girl.
But
her
brother
did
not
like
me.
When
she
went
on
vacation,
it
ended.
I
ate
dinner
at
the
Yale
Club.
It
was
the
saddest
time
of
my
day.
Then
I
went
to
the
library
and
studied.
It
was
quiet
there.
After
that,
if
the
night
was
nice,
I
walked
down
Madison
Avenue.
