El Gran Gatsby
Capítulo 9, Página 6
“Young
Parke’s
in
trouble,”
he
said.
“They
picked
him
up
with
bonds.
New
York
gave
them
the
numbers.
What
do
you
know
about
that?”
“Hello!”
I
said.
“This
isn’t
Mr.
Gatsby.
Mr.
Gatsby’s
dead.”
There
was
silence.
Then
the
call
ended.
On
the
third
day,
a
telegram
came.
It
was
from
Henry
C.
Gatz.
He
was
coming.
He
asked
to
wait
for
the
funeral.
It
was
Gatsby’s
father.
He
was
an
old
man.
He
looked
sad.
I
took
his
bag
and
umbrella.
He
pulled
at
his
beard.
I
took
him
to
sit
down.
He
did
not
eat.
He
spilled
his
milk.
“I
saw
it
in
the
newspaper,”
he
said.
“I
started
right
away.”
