El Gran Gatsby
Capítulo 3, Página 10
"Has
it?"
"A
little
bit,
I
think.
I
can't
tell
yet.
I've
only
been
here
an
hour.
Did
I
tell
you
about
the
books?
They're
real.
They're—"
"You
told
us."
We
shook
hands
with
him
seriously
and
went
back
outside.
People
were
dancing
on
the
garden
floor
now;
old
men
danced
with
young
girls
in
circles,
couples
held
each
other
in
corners,
and
many
girls
danced
alone
or
played
music
for
a
short
time.
By
midnight,
the
fun
had
grown.
A
famous
singer
sang
in
Italian,
and
another
sang
jazz.
Between
songs,
people
did
tricks
in
the
garden,
and
laughter
filled
the
night.
Two
girls
in
yellow
did
a
baby
act
in
costumes,
and
champagne
was
served
in
big
glasses.
The
moon
was
high,
and
the
sea
looked
like
silver
scales,
shaking
with
the
music
from
the
lawn.
I
was
still
with
Jordan
Baker.
We
sat
at
a
table
with
a
man
my
age
and
a
lively
girl
who
laughed
easily.
I
was
having
fun
now.
I
had
two
glasses
of
champagne,
and
everything
seemed
special
and
deep.
