El Gran Gatsby
Capítulo 4, Página 13
"The
old
Metropole,"
Mr.
Wolfshiem
said
sadly.
"Filled
with
faces
that
are
gone
now.
Filled
with
friends
gone
forever.
I
can't
forget
the
night
they
shot
Rosy
Rosenthal
there.
There
were
six
of
us
at
the
table,
and
Rosy
had
eaten
and
drunk
a
lot
all
evening.
When
it
was
almost
morning,
the
waiter
came
up
to
him
with
a
strange
look
and
said
someone
wanted
to
talk
to
him
outside.
'All
right,'
said
Rosy,
and
started
to
get
up,
but
I
pulled
him
back
down.
"'Let
them
come
in
here
if
they
want
you,
Rosy,
but
don't
you
dare
move
outside
this
room.'
"It
was
four
in
the
morning
then,
and
if
we
had
opened
the
blinds,
we
would
have
seen
daylight."
"Did
he
go?"
I
asked
innocently.
"Of
course
he
went."
Mr.
Wolfshiem's
nose
flashed
at
me
with
irritation.
"He
turned
at
the
door
and
said,
'Don't
let
that
waiter
take
my
coffee!'
Then
he
went
outside,
and
they
shot
him
three
times
in
the
stomach
and
drove
away."
"Four
of
them
were
electrocuted,"
I
said,
remembering.
