El Gran Gatsby
Capítulo 7, Página 11
“Goodbye,
sweetheart!”
With
a
reluctant
backward
glance,
the
well-behaved
child
held
the
nurse’s
hand
and
was
led
out
the
door,
just
as
Tom
returned,
bringing
four
gin
rickeys
full
of
ice.
Gatsby
took
his
drink.
“They
certainly
look
cool,”
he
said,
with
visible
tension.
We
drank
in
long,
eager
swallows.
“I
read
somewhere
that
the
sun’s
getting
hotter
every
year,”
said
Tom
cheerfully.
“It
seems
that
soon
the
earth
will
fall
into
the
sun—or
wait—it’s
just
the
opposite—the
sun’s
getting
colder
every
year.”
