El Gran Gatsby
Capítulo 7, Página 19
“Yes.”
“Well,
you
take
my
coupé
and
let
me
drive
your
car
to
town.”
Gatsby
didn’t
like
the
suggestion.
“I
don’t
think
there’s
much
gas,”
he
said.
“Plenty
of
gas,”
Tom
said
loudly.
He
checked
the
gauge.
“And
if
it
runs
out,
I
can
stop
at
a
drugstore.
You
can
buy
anything
there
nowadays.”
A
pause
followed
this
seemingly
pointless
comment.
Daisy
looked
at
Tom,
frowning,
and
a
strange
expression,
both
unfamiliar
and
vaguely
recognizable,
appeared
on
Gatsby’s
face.
