El Gran Gatsby
Capítulo 7, Página 37
"It
was
in
nineteen-nineteen.
I
only
stayed
five
months.
That’s
why
I
can’t
really
call
myself
an
Oxford
man."
Tom
looked
around
to
see
if
we
shared
his
disbelief.
But
we
were
all
watching
Gatsby.
"It
was
a
chance
given
to
some
officers
after
the
armistice,"
he
continued.
"We
could
attend
any
university
in
England
or
France."
I
wanted
to
stand
up
and
pat
him
on
the
back.
I
felt
a
renewed
complete
faith
in
him,
like
I
had
felt
before.
Daisy
stood
up,
smiling
slightly,
and
went
to
the
table.
"Open
the
whisky,
Tom,"
she
said,
"and
I'll
make
you
a
mint
julep.
Then
you
won't
feel
so
foolish...
Look
at
the
mint!"
