El Gran Gatsby
Capítulo 4, Página 11
A
small,
flat-nosed
man
raised
his
large
head
and
looked
at
me
with
two
thick
tufts
of
hair
growing
in
each
nostril.
After
a
moment,
I
found
his
tiny
eyes
in
the
half-darkness.
"—So
I
took
one
look
at
him,"
said
Mr.
Wolfshiem,
shaking
my
hand
earnestly,
"and
what
do
you
think
I
did?"
"What?"
I
asked
politely.
But
he
wasn’t
talking
to
me,
as
he
dropped
my
hand
and
focused
on
Gatsby
with
his
expressive
nose.
"I
handed
the
money
to
Katspaugh
and
said:
‘All
right,
Katspaugh,
don’t
pay
him
a
cent
until
he
shuts
his
mouth.’
He
shut
it
right
then."
Gatsby
took
an
arm
of
each
of
us
and
moved
us
into
the
restaurant,
where
Mr.
Wolfshiem
swallowed
a
new
sentence
he
was
starting
and
fell
into
a
thoughtful
silence.
