El Maravilloso Mago de Oz
Capítulo 12, Página 4
He
took
his
sharp
axe.
The
leader
wolf
came,
and
the
Tin
Woodman
cut
off
its
head.
Another
wolf
came,
and
he
did
the
same.
There
were
forty
wolves.
He
killed
each
one.
They
all
lay
dead
before
the
Woodman.
He
put
down
his
axe
and
sat
by
the
Scarecrow.
"It
was
a
good
fight,
friend,"
said
the
Scarecrow.
They
waited
until
Dorothy
woke
up.
She
was
scared
to
see
the
wolves.
The
Tin
Woodman
told
her
all.
She
thanked
him
and
sat
down
to
eat.
Then
they
started
walking
again.
That
morning,
the
Wicked
Witch
looked
out.
She
saw
her
wolves
dead
and
the
strangers
still
there.
She
was
angrier
and
blew
her
whistle
twice.
A
big
flock
of
wild
crows
came
flying
to
her.
They
darkened
the
sky.
The
Witch
said
to
the
King
Crow,
"Fly
to
the
strangers.
Peck
their
eyes
and
tear
them."
