El Maravilloso Mago de Oz
Capítulo 14, Página 1
There
was
no
road
between
the
Witch's
castle
and
the
Emerald
City.
The
travelers
went
to
find
the
Witch.
She
saw
them
and
sent
the
Winged
Monkeys.
The
Monkeys
carried
them.
It
was
hard
to
find
the
way
back.
They
walked
through
big
fields
of
flowers.
They
knew
they
must
go
east.
But
at
noon,
they
did
not
know
east
from
west.
They
got
lost
in
the
fields.
They
walked,
and
at
night,
the
moon
shone.
They
slept
among
the
flowers.
The
Scarecrow
and
the
Tin
Woodman
did
not
sleep.
The
next
morning
the
sun
was
behind
a
cloud.
They
started
walking
again.
Dorothy
said,
“If
we
walk
far,
we
will
find
a
place.”
But
days
passed.
They
saw
only
scarlet
fields.
The
Scarecrow
began
to
grumble.
He
said,
“We
lost
our
way.
If
we
do
not
find
it,
I
will
not
get
my
brains.”
The
Tin
Woodman
said,
“Nor
I
my
heart.
I
cannot
wait
to
get
to
Oz.
This
is
a
long
journey.”
