El Maravilloso Mago de Oz
Capítulo 23, Página 1
Before
they
saw
Glinda,
they
went
to
a
room
in
the
Castle.
Dorothy
washed
her
face
and
combed
her
hair.
The
Lion
shook
the
dust
from
his
mane.
The
Scarecrow
fixed
himself
and
the
Woodman
polished
his
tin
and
oiled
his
joints.
When
they
were
ready,
they
followed
the
soldier
girl.
She
took
them
to
a
big
room.
Glinda,
the
Witch,
sat
on
a
throne
of
rubies.
Glinda
looked
young
and
beautiful.
Her
hair
was
red
and
curly.
It
fell
over
her
shoulders.
Her
dress
was
white,
and
her
eyes
were
blue.
She
looked
kindly
at
Dorothy.
“What
can
I
do
for
you,
my
child?”
she
asked.
Dorothy
told
Glinda
her
story.
She
talked
about
the
cyclone
and
how
she
came
to
the
Land
of
Oz.
She
told
about
her
friends
and
their
adventures.
“I
want
to
go
back
to
Kansas,”
she
said.
“Aunt
Em
will
think
something
bad
happened
to
me.
She
will
be
sad.
Uncle
Henry
cannot
buy
new
things
if
the
crops
are
bad.”
