El Maravilloso Mago de Oz
Capítulo 3, Página 1
Dorothy
felt
hungry
when
she
was
alone.
She
went
to
the
cupboard.
She
cut
some
bread
and
put
butter
on
it.
She
gave
some
to
Toto.
Then
she
took
a
pail
and
went
to
the
brook.
She
filled
it
with
water.
Toto
ran
to
the
trees
and
barked
at
the
birds.
Dorothy
went
to
get
him.
She
saw
fruit
on
the
trees.
She
picked
some
for
breakfast.
Dorothy
went
back
to
the
house.
She
drank
water
with
Toto.
Then
she
got
ready
for
the
trip
to
the
City
of
Emeralds.
Dorothy
had
one
more
dress.
It
was
clean
and
hung
by
her
bed.
It
was
blue
and
white.
The
blue
was
faded,
but
it
was
still
pretty.
She
washed,
dressed,
and
put
on
her
pink
sunbonnet.
She
took
a
basket
and
put
bread
in
it.
She
covered
it
with
a
white
cloth.
Then
she
looked
at
her
shoes.
They
were
old
and
worn.
"These
shoes
are
not
good
for
a
long
walk,
Toto,"
she
said.
Toto
wagged
his
tail.
He
understood.
Dorothy
saw
silver
shoes
on
the
table.
They
belonged
to
the
Witch
of
the
East.
"I
wonder
if
they
fit
me,"
she
said
to
Toto.
"They
are
good
for
a
long
walk.
They
will
not
wear
out."
