El Maravilloso Mago de Oz
Capítulo 4, Página 1
After
a
few
hours,
the
road
was
rough.
Walking
was
hard.
The
Scarecrow
often
fell
on
the
yellow
bricks.
The
bricks
were
broken
or
missing.
Toto
jumped
over
holes.
Dorothy
walked
around
them.
The
Scarecrow
did
not
stop.
He
walked
into
holes
and
fell.
It
did
not
hurt
him.
Dorothy
picked
him
up.
They
laughed
together.
The
farms
were
not
nice
here.
There
were
fewer
houses
and
trees.
The
country
looked
sad
and
lonely.
At
noon,
they
sat
by
the
road.
They
were
near
a
little
stream.
Dorothy
opened
her
basket.
She
took
out
some
bread.
She
gave
a
piece
to
the
Scarecrow,
but
he
said
no.
“I
am
never
hungry,”
he
said.
“My
mouth
is
only
painted.
If
I
cut
it,
the
straw
will
fall
out.
My
head
will
look
bad.”
Dorothy
nodded.
She
ate
her
bread.
“Tell
me
about
you
and
your
home,”
said
the
Scarecrow.
Dorothy
told
him
about
Kansas.
She
said
it
was
gray.
She
talked
about
the
cyclone
and
the
Land
of
Oz.
