El Maravilloso Mago de Oz
Capítulo 10, Página 7
"I
don’t
know,"
said
Dorothy
sadly.
"But
it
is
my
home,
and
I’m
sure
it’s
somewhere."
"Very
likely.
Well,
Oz
can
do
anything,
so
he
might
find
Kansas
for
you.
But
you
must
see
him
first,
and
that
is
hard.
The
Great
Wizard
does
not
like
to
see
anyone.
But
what
do
YOU
want?"
he
asked
Toto.
Toto
wagged
his
tail,
for
he
could
not
speak.
The
woman
called
them
to
supper.
Dorothy
ate
porridge,
scrambled
eggs,
and
bread.
She
enjoyed
her
meal.
The
Lion
ate
some
porridge
but
did
not
like
it.
He
said
it
was
for
horses,
not
lions.
The
Scarecrow
and
the
Tin
Woodman
ate
nothing.
Toto
ate
a
little
of
everything
and
was
happy
to
have
a
good
meal.
The
woman
gave
Dorothy
a
bed,
and
Toto
lay
beside
her.
The
Lion
guarded
the
door,
so
she
was
not
disturbed.
The
Scarecrow
and
the
Tin
Woodman
stood
in
a
corner
and
stayed
quiet
all
night,
though
they
could
not
sleep.
The
next
morning,
they
started
their
journey
again.
Soon
they
saw
a
beautiful
green
light
in
the
sky.
"That
must
be
the
Emerald
City,"
said
Dorothy.
