El Maravilloso Mago de Oz
Capítulo 11, Página 1
Dorothy
and
her
friends
wore
green
glasses.
Even
with
them,
the
City
was
very
bright.
The
streets
had
beautiful
houses
made
of
green
marble.
There
were
sparkling
emeralds
everywhere.
They
walked
on
green
marble
roads.
The
blocks
had
rows
of
shining
emeralds
between
them.
The
windows
were
green
glass.
Even
the
sky
looked
green,
and
the
sun's
rays
were
green
too.
Many
people
walked
around,
all
in
green
clothes.
Their
skin
looked
a
little
green
too.
They
stared
at
Dorothy
and
her
friends
with
wide
eyes.
The
children
ran
and
hid
behind
their
mothers
when
they
saw
the
Lion.
No
one
talked
to
them.
There
were
many
shops,
and
everything
was
green.
They
sold
green
candy,
green
popcorn,
and
green
clothes.
A
man
sold
green
lemonade,
and
the
children
paid
with
green
pennies.
There
were
no
horses
or
animals.
Men
pushed
little
green
carts
to
carry
things.
Everyone
looked
happy
and
content.
The
Guardian
of
the
Gates
led
them
to
a
big
building
in
the
middle
of
the
City.
It
was
the
Palace
of
Oz,
the
Great
Wizard.
A
soldier
stood
at
the
door,
wearing
a
green
uniform
and
a
long
green
beard.
"Here
are
strangers,"
said
the
Guardian,
"and
they
want
to
see
the
Great
Oz."
"Come
inside,"
said
the
soldier,
"and
I
will
take
your
message
to
him."
