El Maravilloso Mago de Oz
Capítulo 11, Página 3
The
soldier
blew
a
green
whistle,
and
a
young
girl
in
a
green
silk
dress
came
in.
She
had
green
hair
and
green
eyes.
She
bowed
to
Dorothy
and
said,
"Follow
me,
and
I
will
show
you
your
room."
Dorothy
said
goodbye
to
her
friends,
except
for
Toto.
She
carried
Toto
and
followed
the
green
girl
through
many
passages
and
up
stairs.
They
reached
a
room
at
the
front
of
the
Palace.
It
was
a
lovely
room
with
a
soft
bed,
green
silk
sheets,
and
a
green
velvet
blanket.
There
was
a
small
fountain
in
the
room,
spraying
green
perfume
into
the
air.
Green
flowers
stood
in
the
windows,
and
there
was
a
shelf
with
little
green
books.
When
Dorothy
opened
them,
she
found
funny
green
pictures.
In
a
wardrobe
were
many
green
dresses
of
silk,
satin,
and
velvet.
They
all
fit
Dorothy
perfectly.
"Feel
at
home,"
said
the
green
girl.
"If
you
need
anything,
ring
the
bell.
Oz
will
call
for
you
tomorrow
morning."
She
left
Dorothy
and
went
back
to
the
others.
She
showed
them
to
their
rooms
too.
The
Scarecrow
stood
in
one
spot
all
night,
watching
a
spider.
The
Tin
Woodman
lay
on
his
bed
but
did
not
sleep.
He
moved
his
joints
to
keep
them
working.
The
Lion
missed
the
forest
but
curled
up
on
the
bed
and
slept
like
a
cat.
The
next
morning,
the
green
girl
came
for
Dorothy.
She
dressed
Dorothy
in
a
pretty
green
satin
gown.
Dorothy
put
a
green
ribbon
on
Toto
and
went
to
the
Throne
Room
of
Oz.
