El Maravilloso Mago de Oz
Capítulo 13, Página 5
“And
I
will
go
back
to
Kansas,”
said
Dorothy,
clapping
her
hands.
“Let’s
start
for
the
Emerald
City
tomorrow!”
They
decided
to
do
this.
The
next
day,
they
said
goodbye
to
the
Winkies.
The
Winkies
were
sad
to
see
them
go.
They
liked
the
Tin
Woodman
so
much
that
they
asked
him
to
stay
and
rule
over
them.
When
they
saw
the
travelers
were
leaving,
the
Winkies
gave
Toto
and
the
Lion
each
a
golden
collar.
They
gave
Dorothy
a
beautiful
bracelet
with
diamonds.
They
gave
the
Scarecrow
a
gold-headed
walking
stick
to
help
him
walk.
They
gave
the
Tin
Woodman
a
silver
oil-can
with
gold
and
jewels.
Each
traveler
thanked
the
Winkies
with
a
nice
speech.
They
all
shook
hands
until
their
arms
were
tired.
Dorothy
went
to
the
Witch’s
cupboard
to
get
food
for
the
journey.
There
she
saw
the
Golden
Cap.
She
tried
it
on
and
found
it
fit
her
perfectly.
She
did
not
know
its
magic,
but
she
liked
it,
so
she
decided
to
wear
it
and
carry
her
sunbonnet
in
the
basket.
Ready
for
the
journey,
they
all
started
for
the
Emerald
City.
The
Winkies
cheered
for
them
and
wished
them
well.
