El Maravilloso Mago de Oz
Capítulo 14, Página 2
“You
see,”
said
the
Cowardly
Lion,
with
a
whimper,
“I
have
no
courage
to
keep
walking
forever
without
getting
anywhere.”
Then
Dorothy
lost
heart.
She
sat
down
on
the
grass
and
looked
at
her
friends,
and
they
sat
down
and
looked
at
her.
Toto
was
too
tired
to
chase
a
butterfly
that
flew
by.
He
panted
and
looked
at
Dorothy
as
if
to
ask
what
to
do
next.
“Suppose
we
call
the
field
mice,”
she
suggested.
“They
could
tell
us
the
way
to
the
Emerald
City.”
“Of
course
they
could,”
cried
the
Scarecrow.
“Why
didn’t
we
think
of
that
before?”
Dorothy
blew
the
little
whistle
she
had
around
her
neck
since
the
Queen
of
the
Mice
gave
it
to
her.
In
a
few
minutes,
they
heard
tiny
feet,
and
many
small
gray
mice
came
running
to
her.
Among
them
was
the
Queen,
who
asked
in
her
squeaky
voice:
“What
can
I
do
for
my
friends?”
