El Maravilloso Mago de Oz
Capítulo 15, Página 10
He
led
them
to
a
small
room
at
the
back
of
the
Throne
Room,
and
they
all
followed
him.
He
pointed
to
a
corner,
where
the
great
Head
lay,
made
out
of
many
layers
of
paper,
with
a
carefully
painted
face.
“I
hung
this
from
the
ceiling
by
a
wire,”
said
Oz.
“I
stood
behind
the
screen
and
pulled
a
thread
to
make
the
eyes
move
and
the
mouth
open.”
“But
what
about
the
voice?”
she
asked.
“Oh,
I
am
a
ventriloquist,”
said
the
little
man.
“I
can
throw
my
voice
wherever
I
want,
so
you
thought
it
came
from
the
Head.
Here
are
the
other
things
I
used
to
trick
you.”
He
showed
the
Scarecrow
the
dress
and
mask
he
wore
when
he
seemed
to
be
the
lovely
Lady.
The
Tin
Woodman
saw
his
terrible
Beast
was
just
many
skins
sewn
together,
with
slats
to
hold
them
up.
As
for
the
Ball
of
Fire,
the
false
Wizard
hung
that
from
the
ceiling
too.
It
was
really
a
ball
of
cotton,
but
when
oil
was
poured
on
it,
the
ball
burned
brightly.
"Really,"
said
the
Scarecrow,
"you
should
be
ashamed
of
yourself
for
being
a
fake."
"I
am—I
really
am,"
said
the
little
man
sadly.
"But
it
was
the
only
thing
I
could
do.
Sit
down,
please.
There
are
many
chairs,
and
I
will
tell
you
my
story."
