El Maravilloso Mago de Oz
Capítulo 15, Página 3
The
soldier
told
Oz
that
Dorothy
and
the
others
were
back,
after
defeating
the
Wicked
Witch,
but
Oz
did
not
reply.
They
thought
the
Great
Wizard
would
call
them
soon,
but
he
did
not.
They
heard
nothing
from
him
the
next
day,
or
the
next.
The
waiting
was
long
and
tiring,
and
they
became
upset
that
Oz
treated
them
so
poorly
after
sending
them
on
a
hard
journey.
So
the
Scarecrow
asked
the
green
girl
to
tell
Oz
that
if
he
did
not
see
them
soon,
they
would
call
the
Winged
Monkeys
to
help
them
and
see
if
he
kept
his
promises.
When
the
Wizard
got
this
message,
he
was
so
scared
that
he
told
them
to
come
to
the
Throne
Room
at
four
minutes
after
nine
the
next
morning.
He
had
met
the
Winged
Monkeys
before
and
did
not
want
to
meet
them
again.
The
four
travelers
could
not
sleep
that
night,
each
thinking
about
the
gift
Oz
promised.
Dorothy
fell
asleep
only
once,
and
she
dreamed
she
was
in
Kansas,
where
Aunt
Em
was
happy
to
have
her
home
again.
At
nine
o’clock
the
next
morning,
the
green-whiskered
soldier
came
to
them,
and
four
minutes
later
they
all
went
into
the
Throne
Room
of
the
Great
Oz.
Each
one
expected
to
see
the
Wizard
as
before,
and
they
were
very
surprised
when
they
saw
no
one
in
the
room.
They
stayed
close
to
the
door
and
closer
to
each
other
because
the
quiet
empty
room
was
scarier
than
any
form
Oz
had
taken.
Soon,
they
heard
a
serious
Voice
from
somewhere
near
the
top
of
the
great
dome,
and
it
said:
“I
am
Oz,
the
Great
and
Terrible.
Why
do
you
seek
me?”
