El Maravilloso Mago de Oz
Capítulo 17, Página 4
“But
we
need
a
basket
to
ride
in,”
he
said.
So
he
sent
the
soldier
with
green
whiskers
to
get
a
big
basket.
He
tied
it
with
ropes
to
the
bottom
of
the
balloon.
When
it
was
ready,
Oz
told
his
people
he
was
visiting
a
great
Wizard
in
the
clouds.
The
news
spread
quickly,
and
everyone
came
to
see.
Oz
ordered
the
balloon
to
be
carried
in
front
of
the
Palace.
The
people
looked
at
it
with
curiosity.
The
Tin
Woodman
made
a
big
fire,
and
Oz
held
the
balloon
over
it.
The
hot
air
went
into
the
bag,
and
the
balloon
rose
into
the
air
until
the
basket
touched
the
ground.
Then
Oz
got
into
the
basket
and
said
loudly
to
everyone:
“I
am
going
away
to
visit.
While
I
am
gone,
the
Scarecrow
will
rule
over
you.
Obey
him
as
you
would
me.”
The
balloon
pulled
hard
at
the
rope
because
the
hot
air
made
it
lighter
than
the
air
outside.
