South.

rules

Quadlings.

castle

near

desert,
so
she
might
know

way
to
cross
it.”
“Is
Glinda
a
Good
Witch?”
asked
Dorothy.
“The
Quadlings
think
she
is
good,”
said
the
soldier.
“She
is
kind
to
everyone.
I
heard
she
is
beautiful
and
stays
young
even
after
many
years.”
“How
can
I
get
to
her
castle?”
asked
Dorothy.
“The
road
goes
straight
to
the
South,”
he
answered,
“but
it
is
dangerous.
There
are
wild
animals
and
strange
men
who
don’t
like
strangers.
That’s
why
the
Quadlings
don’t
come
to
the
Emerald
City.”
