El Maravilloso Mago de Oz
Capítulo 23, Página 1
Before
they
went
to
see
Glinda,
they
went
to
a
room
in
the
Castle.
Dorothy
washed
her
face
and
combed
her
hair.
The
Lion
shook
dust
from
his
mane.
The
Scarecrow
fixed
his
shape,
and
the
Woodman
polished
his
tin
and
oiled
his
joints.
When
they
were
ready,
they
followed
the
soldier
girl
into
a
big
room.
The
Witch
Glinda
sat
on
a
throne
of
rubies.
She
looked
young
and
beautiful
to
them.
Her
hair
was
rich
red
and
fell
in
ringlets
over
her
shoulders.
Her
dress
was
white,
but
her
eyes
were
blue,
and
they
looked
kindly
at
Dorothy.
“What
can
I
do
for
you,
my
child?”
she
asked.
Dorothy
told
Glinda
her
story.
She
talked
about
the
cyclone,
her
friends,
and
their
adventures.
“My
greatest
wish
now,”
she
said,
“is
to
go
back
to
Kansas.
Aunt
Em
will
think
something
bad
happened
to
me.
She
will
be
very
sad,
and
Uncle
Henry
cannot
afford
it.”
