El Maravilloso Mago de Oz
Capítulo 3, Página 5
“I
do
not
know,”
Boq
said
seriously.
“I
have
never
been
there.
People
stay
away
from
Oz
unless
they
need
him.
It
is
a
long
way
and
will
take
many
days.
The
country
is
nice,
but
you
must
pass
through
rough
places.”
This
worried
Dorothy
a
little.
But
only
the
Great
Oz
could
help
her
get
to
Kansas.
She
decided
to
keep
going.
She
said
goodbye
to
her
friends
and
started
on
the
yellow
brick
road
again.
After
several
miles,
she
stopped
to
rest.
She
climbed
a
fence
beside
the
road
and
sat
down.
There
was
a
cornfield
beyond
the
fence.
Not
far
away
she
saw
a
Scarecrow
on
a
pole.
Dorothy
leaned
her
chin
on
her
hand
and
looked
at
the
Scarecrow.
Its
head
was
a
sack
with
straw.
Eyes,
nose,
and
mouth
were
painted
on
it.
An
old
blue
hat
was
on
its
head.
The
suit
was
blue
and
stuffed
with
straw.
Old
boots
with
blue
tops
were
on
its
feet.
The
pole
held
it
above
the
corn.
While
Dorothy
looked
at
the
Scarecrow,
she
was
surprised.
One
eye
slowly
winked
at
her.
She
thought
she
was
mistaken
because
scarecrows
do
not
wink.
But
then
it
nodded
at
her
in
a
friendly
way.
She
climbed
down
and
walked
to
it.
Toto
ran
and
barked.
“Good
day,”
said
the
Scarecrow
in
a
husky
voice.
