El Maravilloso Mago de Oz
Capítulo 7, Página 3
“I
will,”
said
the
Scarecrow,
“because
if
you
cannot
jump,
Dorothy
might
get
hurt,
or
the
Tin
Woodman
might
dent.
But
if
I
fall,
it
will
not
matter.”
“I
am
very
afraid
of
falling,”
said
the
Cowardly
Lion,
“but
I
will
try.
Get
on
my
back.”
The
Scarecrow
sat
on
the
Lion’s
back.
The
Lion
walked
to
the
edge
and
crouched
down.
“Why
don’t
you
run
and
jump?”
asked
the
Scarecrow.
“Lions
do
not
do
it
that
way,”
he
replied.
Then
he
jumped
and
landed
safely
on
the
other
side.
They
were
happy
to
see
it.
After
the
Scarecrow
got
down,
the
Lion
jumped
back.
Dorothy
went
next,
holding
Toto.
She
held
the
Lion’s
mane
tightly.
It
felt
like
flying,
and
soon
she
was
safe
on
the
other
side.
The
Lion
went
back
again
and
got
the
Tin
Woodman.
They
all
sat
down
to
let
the
Lion
rest.
His
big
jumps
made
him
breathe
hard.
