El Maravilloso Mago de Oz
Capítulo 19, Página 2
The
sun
shone
brightly
as
they
turned
toward
the
Land
of
the
South.
They
were
all
in
high
spirits,
laughing
and
chatting
together.
Dorothy
was
hopeful
about
getting
home,
and
the
Scarecrow
and
the
Tin
Woodman
were
happy
to
help
her.
The
Lion
enjoyed
the
fresh
air
and
wagged
his
tail
joyfully,
while
Toto
ran
around,
chasing
moths
and
butterflies,
barking
happily.
"City
life
doesn't
suit
me
at
all,"
said
the
Lion
as
they
walked
briskly.
"I've
lost
weight
there,
and
now
I
want
to
show
the
other
beasts
how
brave
I've
become."
They
turned
and
took
a
last
look
at
the
Emerald
City.
They
saw
towers
and
steeples
behind
the
green
walls,
and
high
above,
the
spires
and
dome
of
the
Palace
of
Oz.
"Oz
wasn't
such
a
bad
Wizard
after
all,"
said
the
Tin
Woodman,
feeling
his
heart
rattling
inside
his
chest.
"He
knew
how
to
give
me
brains,
and
very
good
ones
too,"
said
the
Scarecrow.
"If
Oz
had
taken
the
same
courage
he
gave
me,"
added
the
Lion,
"he
would
have
been
a
brave
man."
