El Maravilloso Mago de Oz
Capítulo 23, Página 1
Before
they
went
to
see
Glinda,
they
were
taken
to
a
room
in
the
Castle.
Dorothy
washed
her
face
and
combed
her
hair.
The
Lion
shook
the
dust
out
of
his
mane.
The
Scarecrow
patted
himself
into
shape,
and
the
Woodman
polished
his
tin
and
oiled
his
joints.
When
they
were
all
ready,
they
followed
the
soldier
girl
into
a
large
room.
There,
the
Witch
Glinda
sat
on
a
throne
made
of
rubies.
She
looked
beautiful
and
young
to
them.
Her
hair
was
a
rich
red
color,
falling
in
curls
over
her
shoulders.
Her
dress
was
pure
white,
and
her
eyes
were
blue,
looking
kindly
at
the
little
girl.
“What
can
I
do
for
you,
my
child?”
she
asked.
Dorothy
told
the
Witch
her
whole
story:
how
the
cyclone
brought
her
to
the
Land
of
Oz,
how
she
found
her
friends,
and
the
wonderful
adventures
they
had.
“My
biggest
wish
now,”
she
added,
“is
to
get
back
to
Kansas.
Aunt
Em
will
think
something
bad
has
happened
to
me,
and
she
will
be
very
sad.
If
the
crops
are
not
better
this
year,
Uncle
Henry
cannot
afford
it.”
