El Maravilloso Mago de Oz
Capítulo 5, Página 6
"Come
along,"
said
the
Scarecrow
cheerfully,
and
Dorothy
added
that
she
would
be
happy
to
have
his
company.
The
Tin
Woodman
picked
up
his
axe,
and
they
all
walked
through
the
forest
until
they
reached
the
road
paved
with
yellow
bricks.
The
Tin
Woodman
asked
Dorothy
to
put
the
oil-can
in
her
basket.
"Because,"
he
said,
"if
I
get
caught
in
the
rain
and
rust
again,
I
will
need
the
oil-can
badly."
It
was
lucky
to
have
their
new
friend
join
them.
Soon
after
they
resumed
their
journey,
they
reached
a
place
where
the
trees
and
branches
grew
so
thick
over
the
road
that
they
couldn't
pass.
But
the
Tin
Woodman
used
his
axe
and
chopped
so
well
that
he
quickly
cleared
a
path
for
everyone.
Dorothy
was
thinking
so
hard
as
they
walked
that
she
didn't
notice
when
the
Scarecrow
stumbled
into
a
hole
and
rolled
to
the
side
of
the
road.
He
had
to
call
her
to
help
him
up
again.
"Why
didn't
you
walk
around
the
hole?"
asked
the
Tin
Woodman.
"I
don't
know
enough,"
replied
the
Scarecrow
cheerfully.
"My
head
is
stuffed
with
straw,
you
know,
and
that's
why
I'm
going
to
Oz
to
ask
for
some
brains."
