El Maravilloso Mago de Oz
Capítulo 6, Página 4
"He
is
my
dog,
Toto,"
answered
Dorothy.
"Is
he
made
of
tin
or
stuffed?"
asked
the
Lion.
"Neither.
He's
a—a—a
real
dog,"
said
the
girl.
"Oh!
He's
a
curious
animal
and
seems
very
small
now
that
I
look
at
him.
No
one
would
think
of
biting
such
a
little
thing,
except
a
coward
like
me,"
the
Lion
said
sadly.
"What
makes
you
a
coward?"
asked
Dorothy,
looking
at
the
big
beast
in
wonder,
for
he
was
as
big
as
a
small
horse.
"It's
a
mystery,"
replied
the
Lion.
"I
suppose
I
was
born
that
way.
All
the
other
animals
expect
me
to
be
brave
because
the
Lion
is
known
as
the
King
of
Beasts.
I
learned
that
if
I
roared
loudly,
everything
got
scared
and
moved
out
of
my
way.
Whenever
I
met
a
man,
I
was
very
scared,
but
I
roared
at
him,
and
he
always
ran
away
as
fast
as
he
could.
If
the
elephants,
tigers,
and
bears
ever
tried
to
fight
me,
I
would
have
run
away
myself—I'm
such
a
coward.
But
as
soon
as
they
hear
me
roar,
they
all
run
away,
and
of
course,
I
let
them
go."
