Diego Desconectado
Página 2
One
summer
evening,
Diego
was
hanging
out
of
his
bedroom
window,
replying
to
messages.
His
elbows
rested
on
the
edge
of
the
window,
his
thumbs
tapping
away
as
his
phone
hung
loosely
in
his
hands.
All
of
a
sudden,
he
lost
his
grip.
The
phone
slipped
from
his
fingers.
Panic
flew
down
his
spine.
It
was
like
slow
motion
as
Diego
watched
his
phone
fall
two
stories
down
to
the
ground.
The
sound
of
the
phone
smashing
against
the
sidewalk
below
echoed
in
his
ears.
Diego
ran
downstairs.
He
picked
up
his
phone
off
of
the
ground.
It
was
shattered.
It
wouldn't
turn
on.
No
lights.
No
sounds.
No
Nothing.
Diego
stared
at
it,
heart
racing,
like
he'd
lost
a
part
of
himself.
What
was
he
going
to
do?
