Colección 2, Poema 8
VIII.
SUMMER'S
ARMIES.
A
rainbow
from
the
fair!
A
world
I
see!
Or
a
peacock's
tail,
Feather
by
feather,
on
the
ground
Goes
away!
The
butterflies
wake,
The
pools
start
to
sing
Last
year's
song.
From
the
sun
Bees
march,
one
by
one,
In
a
soft
line!
The
robins
stand
today
Like
snowflakes
did
yesterday,
On
fence
and
roof
and
twig.
The
flower
puts
on
her
feather
For
the
sun,
Visiting
the
bog!
Without
a
leader,
still,
The
group
of
trees
and
hills
Stand
bright.
Look!
Whose
crowd
is
this?
The
children
of
which
land?
