Poemas de Emily Dickinson, Tres Series, Completo
Colección 5, Poema 6
VI.
The
way
I
read
a
letter
is
this:
First
I
lock
the
door,
And
push
it
with
my
fingers
next,
To
be
sure
it
is
safe.
And
then
I
go
far
away
To
stop
a
knock;
Then
take
my
little
letter
out
And
softly
open
it.
Then,
look
at
the
wall,
And
look
at
the
floor,
To
be
sure
no
mouse
Is
there
before,
Read
how
big
I
am
To
—
no
one
you
know!
And
sigh
for
no
heaven,
—
but
not
The
heaven
they
say.
