Colección 9, Poema 43
XLI.
REMEMBRANCE.
Remembrance
has
a
back
and
front,
—
It's
something
like
a
house;
It
has
an
attic
also
For
refuse
and
the
mouse,
Besides,
the
deepest
cellar
That
ever
mason
hewed;
Look
to
it,
by
its
depths
We
are
not
pursued.
We
hang
our
heads,
it
seems,
Then
find
it's
not
the
way
Our
minds
truly
think
In
any
lasting
day.
This
sly
thought
suggests
In
a
fuzzy
kind
of
haze,
You
also
might
take
A
cobweb-like
gaze!
