Colección 4, Poema 10
X.
I
died
for
beauty,
but
had
scarcely
Settled
in
the
tomb,
When
one
who
died
for
truth
was
laid
In
an
adjacent
room.
He
gently
asked
why
I
failed?
"For
beauty,"
I
replied.
"And
I
for
truth,
—
the
two
are
one;
We
are
brothers,"
he
said.
And
so,
as
kin
met
at
night,
We
conversed
between
the
rooms,
Until
the
moss
reached
our
lips,
And
obscured
our
names.
