Las aventuras de Sherlock Holmes
The Red-Headed League
Capítulo 2, Página 21
“Good.
And,
Doctor,
there
might
be
danger.
Please
bring
your
gun.”
He
waved
and
left
quickly
in
the
crowd.
I
often
felt
slow
with
Holmes.
I
heard
and
saw
the
same
things
as
him.
But
he
knew
what
happened
and
what
would
happen.
I
was
confused.
I
went
home
and
thought
about
the
red-haired
man
and
Coburg
Square.
Holmes
said
the
pawnbroker's
assistant
was
clever.
I
did
not
know
what
to
think.
I
waited
for
night
to
understand.
At
nine-fifteen,
I
left
home.
I
went
to
Baker
Street.
Two
cabs
were
there.
I
heard
voices
inside.
I
went
in
and
saw
Holmes.
He
talked
with
two
men.
One
was
Peter
Jones,
a
police
agent.
The
other
was
a
thin
man
with
a
sad
face.
“Our
group
is
ready,”
Holmes
said.
He
put
on
his
coat
and
took
a
stick.
“Watson,
you
know
Mr.
Jones.
This
is
Mr.
Merryweather.
He
will
join
us
tonight.”
“We
work
together
again,
Doctor,”
said
Jones.
“Our
friend
is
good
at
finding
criminals.
He
needs
help
to
catch
them.”
“I
hope
it
is
not
a
waste
of
time,”
said
Mr.
Merryweather
sadly.
“You
can
trust
Mr.
Holmes,”
said
Jones.
“He
is
smart,
though
a
bit
strange.
He
is
a
good
detective.
Sometimes
he
knows
more
than
the
police.”
“If
you
say
so,
Mr.
Jones,”
said
the
stranger.
“But
I
miss
my
game.
I
always
play
on
Saturday
nights.”
