Las aventuras de Sherlock Holmes
The Adventure of the Copper Beeches
Capítulo 12, Página 11
Holmes
was
right.
Two
weeks
passed,
and
I
often
thought
about
her
and
wondered
what
strange
situation
she
was
in.
The
high
salary,
strange
conditions,
and
easy
work
seemed
unusual.
I
could
not
decide
if
it
was
a
game
or
a
trick,
or
if
the
man
was
good
or
bad.
Holmes
often
sat
thinking,
but
when
I
asked,
he
said,
"Data!
data!
data!
I
need
more
information."
Yet,
he
would
say
that
no
sister
of
his
should
take
such
a
job.
We
got
a
telegram
late
one
night
when
I
was
about
to
sleep
and
Holmes
was
starting
his
night
experiments.
He
opened
the
yellow
envelope,
read
the
message,
and
passed
it
to
me.
"Check
the
train
times
in
Bradshaw,"
he
said,
returning
to
his
work.
The
message
was
short
and
urgent.
"Please
be
at
the
Black
Swan
Hotel
in
Winchester
at
noon
tomorrow,"
it
said.
"Do
come!
I
am
very
worried."
"HUNTER."
"Will
you
come
with
me?"
Holmes
asked,
looking
up.
"I
want
to."
