Las aventuras de Sherlock Holmes
The Man with the Twisted Lip
Capítulo 6, Página 20
“Never.”
“Did
he
ever
show
signs
of
using
opium?”
“Never.”
“Thank
you,
Mrs.
St.
Clair.
These
are
the
main
points
I
needed
to
understand.
We
will
have
some
supper
now
and
then
rest,
because
tomorrow
might
be
very
busy.”
We
had
a
large
room
with
two
beds.
I
went
to
bed
quickly
because
I
was
tired
from
the
night’s
adventure.
Sherlock
Holmes,
however,
was
a
man
who
could
go
without
rest
when
he
had
a
mystery
to
solve.
He
would
think
about
it,
change
the
facts
around,
and
look
at
it
from
every
angle
until
he
understood
it
or
decided
he
needed
more
information.
It
was
clear
he
was
planning
to
stay
up
all
night.
He
took
off
his
coat
and
waistcoat,
put
on
a
blue
dressing-gown,
and
gathered
pillows
and
cushions
to
make
a
seat.
He
sat
cross-legged
with
tobacco
and
matches
in
front
of
him.
In
the
dim
light,
I
saw
him
with
a
pipe
in
his
mouth,
staring
at
the
ceiling,
smoke
curling
up,
silent
and
still.
I
fell
asleep
seeing
him
like
that,
and
I
woke
up
to
find
the
sun
shining
in
the
room.
The
pipe
was
still
in
his
mouth,
smoke
still
rose,
and
the
room
was
full
of
smoke,
but
the
tobacco
was
gone.
“Awake,
Watson?”
he
asked.
“Yes.”
“Ready
for
a
morning
drive?”
