Las aventuras de Sherlock Holmes
The Adventure of the Speckled Band
Capítulo 8, Página 2
"I
am
not
cold,"
she
said
quietly,
moving
her
seat.
"What
is
it
then?"
Holmes
asked.
"I
am
afraid,
Mr.
Holmes.
I
am
very
scared."
She
lifted
her
veil,
and
we
saw
she
was
very
upset.
Her
face
was
pale
and
her
eyes
were
frightened.
She
looked
about
thirty,
but
her
hair
was
already
grey.
Holmes
looked
at
her
quickly,
noticing
everything.
"You
must
not
be
afraid,"
he
said
gently.
"We
will
help
you.
You
came
by
train
this
morning,
I
see."
"Do
you
know
me?"
she
asked.
"No,
but
I
see
a
return
ticket
in
your
glove.
You
started
early
and
had
a
long
ride
in
a
dog-cart
before
the
train."
She
was
surprised
and
looked
at
Holmes
with
wide
eyes.
"There
is
no
mystery,"
Holmes
said
with
a
smile.
"Your
jacket
has
mud
on
the
left
arm.
Only
a
dog-cart
can
throw
mud
like
that
when
you
sit
on
the
left."
