house

Becher's."
"Tell
me,"
asked

engineer,

Becher
a
German,
very
thin,

a
long,
sharp
nose?"
The
station-master
laughed.
"No,
sir,
Dr.
Becher
is
English,
and
he
is
quite
well-fed.
But
he
has
a
guest,
a
patient,
who
is
a
foreigner
and
could
use
some
good
Berkshire
beef."
