Las aventuras de Sherlock Holmes
The Red-Headed League
Capítulo 2, Página 1
One
day
last
autumn,
I
visited
my
friend
Mr.
Sherlock
Holmes.
He
was
deep
in
conversation
with
an
older
man
who
had
a
round
face
and
bright
red
hair.
I
apologized
for
interrupting
and
was
about
to
leave
when
Holmes
pulled
me
into
the
room
and
closed
the
door.
“You
couldn't
have
come
at
a
better
time,
dear
Watson,”
he
said
warmly.
“I
thought
you
were
busy.”
“I
am.
Very
much
so.”
“Then
I
can
wait
in
the
next
room.”
“No
need.
This
gentleman,
Mr.
Wilson,
has
helped
me
in
many
successful
cases.
I
am
sure
he
will
be
very
useful
in
yours
too.”
The
gentleman
stood
up
halfway
and
nodded
at
me,
giving
a
quick,
curious
look
with
his
small
eyes
surrounded
by
fat.
“Try
the
sofa,”
said
Holmes,
settling
back
into
his
chair
and
touching
his
fingertips
together,
as
he
often
did
when
thinking
deeply.
“I
know
you
love
everything
strange
and
unusual,
Watson.
You’ve
shown
it
with
the
way
you’ve
written
about
our
adventures,
even
adding
a
bit
of
flair
to
them.”
