Las aventuras de Sherlock Holmes
The Red-Headed League
Capítulo 2, Página 17
"That's
enough,
Mr.
Wilson.
I'll
give
you
my
opinion
in
a
day
or
two.
Today
is
Saturday,
so
I
hope
by
Monday
we
have
a
conclusion."
"Well,
Watson,"
said
Holmes
after
our
visitor
left,
"what
do
you
think
of
it
all?"
"I
can't
make
sense
of
it,"
I
replied
honestly.
"It's
very
mysterious."
"Usually,"
said
Holmes,
"the
stranger
something
is,
the
less
mysterious
it
turns
out
to
be.
Common
crimes
are
more
puzzling,
just
like
a
common
face
is
hard
to
identify.
But
I
must
act
quickly
on
this."
"What
will
you
do
then?"
I
asked.
"Smoke,"
he
replied.
"This
is
quite
a
three-pipe
problem,
so
please
don't
talk
to
me
for
fifty
minutes."
He
curled
up
in
his
chair,
closed
his
eyes,
and
smoked
his
pipe.
I
thought
he
had
fallen
asleep,
and
I
was
nodding
off
too
when
he
suddenly
jumped
up,
put
his
pipe
on
the
mantelpiece,
and
seemed
to
have
made
a
decision.
"Sarasate
plays
at
St.
James's
Hall
this
afternoon,"
he
said.
"What
do
you
think,
Watson?
Can
your
patients
spare
you
for
a
few
hours?"
"I
have
nothing
to
do
today.
My
practice
isn't
very
busy."
