Las aventuras de Sherlock Holmes
The Man with the Twisted Lip
Capítulo 6, Página 20
"Never."
"Did
he
ever
show
signs
of
using
opium?"
"Never."
"Thank
you,
Mrs.
St.
Clair.
Those
are
the
main
points
I
wanted
to
clarify.
Let's
have
some
supper
and
rest,
as
tomorrow
might
be
very
busy."
We
had
a
large,
comfortable
room
with
two
beds.
I
went
to
bed
quickly
because
I
was
tired
from
the
night's
adventure.
Sherlock
Holmes,
however,
was
a
man
who
could
go
for
days
without
rest
if
he
had
an
unsolved
problem.
He
would
think
about
it,
rearrange
facts,
and
look
at
it
from
every
angle
until
he
solved
it
or
decided
he
didn't
have
enough
information.
It
was
clear
he
was
preparing
for
a
long
night.
He
took
off
his
coat
and
waistcoat,
put
on
a
blue
dressing-gown,
and
gathered
pillows
and
cushions
to
make
a
sort
of
Eastern
divan.
He
sat
cross-legged
with
some
tobacco
and
matches
in
front
of
him.
In
the
dim
light,
I
saw
him
sitting
there
with
a
pipe
in
his
mouth,
staring
at
the
ceiling,
smoke
curling
up,
silent
and
motionless.
I
fell
asleep
seeing
him
like
that,
and
when
I
woke
up
with
a
start,
the
sun
was
shining
into
the
room.
The
pipe
was
still
in
his
mouth,
smoke
still
rising,
and
the
room
was
filled
with
tobacco
haze,
but
the
tobacco
pile
was
gone.
"Awake,
Watson?"
he
asked.
"Yes."
"Ready
for
a
morning
drive?"
